The Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation WA Branch Inc. (ACHPER WA Branch Inc.) is the peak professional, association representing professionals working in the fields of Health, Physical Education, Sport, Movement Sciences, Dance and Community Fitness. It is a member based, not for profit organisation with a significant national profile, and aims to provide up to date information on strategies, research, policy information and projects aimed at creating community awareness about healthy active living.

ACHPER works collaboratively with government and non government organisations advocating and promoting active and healthy living and provides professional learning programs for teachers and best practice examples in physical, health, sport and outdoor education as well as physical activity.

ACHPER provides opportunities for people in various interest areas to meet, share ideas, network and develop relationships.
